All prices displayed on the website are in South African Rand (ZAR).

Prices may change without prior notice.

Although every effort is made to ensure pricing accuracy, obvious pricing errors may be corrected before an order is accepted.

5. Orders

Submitting an order does not automatically create a binding agreement.

An order is only accepted once:

  • Payment has been successfully received; and

  • Tecto confirms your order by email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where:

  • Fraud is suspected.

  • Incorrect pricing has occurred.

  • Stock is unavailable.

  • Payment cannot be verified.

If payment has already been received, a full refund will be issued where appropriate.

6. Payment

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers.

Tecto does not store your complete payment card information.

7. Shipping

Delivery times displayed on our website are estimates only.

Unexpected delays caused by:

  • Couriers

  • Weather

  • Public holidays

  • Industrial action

  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

may affect delivery times.

Ownership of goods passes to the customer upon delivery.

8. Returns and Refunds

Returns are governed by our Returns & Refund Policy and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

Customers retain all rights granted under South African consumer law.

9. Consumer Protection

Nothing contained in these Terms limits or excludes any rights afforded to consumers under:

  • Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008

  • Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002

  • Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013

  • Any other applicable South African legislation

Where these Terms conflict with mandatory consumer legislation, the legislation will prevail.

10. Product Warranty

Products supplied by Tecto include the statutory protections provided under South African law.

Where applicable, qualifying products benefit from the implied six-month warranty contained in Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act.

Warranty coverage does not include:

  • Accidental damage

  • Misuse

  • Water damage (unless specifically advertised as waterproof)

  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications

  • Normal wear and tear

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

Your personal information is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and our Privacy Policy.

We collect only information necessary to process orders, provide customer support and improve our services.

From time to time Tecto may offer:

These promotions:

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash.
